New locomotive: TMB Class 200

This trains were bought to increase the existing service of the Barcelona «Transversal Metropolitan» subway line (the only existing one) in 1944. After some years, in 1953, some extra trains were bought again, with some upgrades like increased traction power.

These railcars were removed from service during the 1970s, but due to the lack of vehicles they were put back into service until late 1980s.
