New locomotive: Renfe Serie 316

This was a series of 16 diesel-electric locomotives, used to pull freight trains. These locomotives were built thanks to the global funding plan that the United States of America promoted to help Spain development in 1955.

This locomotives have 1195 kW of power and a maximum speed of 120 Km/h. They had the nickname of «Marilyn» due to its american manufacture.
